Everyone sees things differently. With more than twenty years of experience, Craig R. Thurmond & Associates, Inc. (CRT) sees things others overlook like the visions of the past; the reality of today’s complicated world and even the outlook for tomorrow. At CRT, our goal is to work with the environment, learn from past visions and “envision” the future. We are dedicated to solving the realities of today’s complicated and complex world. Most importantly, our community and clients deserve nothing less than the never-ending effort to plan for tomorrow. Through our “envisioning” and “planning” processes, CRT separates itself from other firms by not only creating the vision for the project, but by creating a working plan that the design team brings to life. The next step in our process is “vision management”. It is here, within the “vision management” that CRT works to ensure that the various elements of the vision are carried out and that details are executed to insure the success of the vision and plan.

My 30 years of experience in Planning and Landscape Design have carried me to all 50 states and 15 international locations not only to create beautiful landscapes in naturally beautiful places, but to also create Master Plans, Architectural Concepts and Themed Visions while maintaining the natural beauty of the place. Through our "Vision Management" Phase, we ensure that our client’s needs are met and the vision is executed in detail during construction. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Environmental Design with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. For nine years, I was also a Professor and Department Head of the Horticulture Department at North Georgia Technical College. Experience, Education and Creativity is the basis for all of our projects.
